I began by sketching simple geometric forms to distill the crow down to its essence. At first, I started with a more geometric approach, but the abstract nature of it did not seem inviting. I decided to stay close to the bird’s natural silhouette. Its angles, balance, and posture already carry a quiet elegance. The goal was refinement, not reinvention: capturing the crow’s presence through the strength of its original form.

I leaned into the classic image of a crow silhouetted on a lone branch; stoic, observant, and poised between stillness and motion. Always appearing ready to take flight, the crow embodies quiet confidence and intention. Because its form already mirrors the structure of a tailored suit, I introduced a subtle collar and waistcoat through negative space, reinforcing the connection to refined menswear without overpowering the bird’s natural presence.
