Since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to how things work. Growing up in South Carolina, the subjects of art and science were always my favorite because they began to give me little pieces towards figuring out this giant puzzle that we call life. I was always more interested in art because I liked to draw and always tried to color in the lines. A bit of a perfectionist, I know...
Then, when I was in college, I took a photography and graphic design class. This changed everything for me. I fell madly in love with capturing an image. To me, photography blended art and science—Using light to expose the world? Amazing! Then, I began to learn about design and how to communicate a message through art; yet another science. I was hooked. In 2014, I received my BFA in graphic design from the University of South Carolina.
Now, I am dedicated to helping businesses tell their story through visual systems.
